A great Fijian idea: the sulu

In the picture you can see the most common men's wear in Fiji: the "sulu".
It's a kind of skirt. Really practical for the heat and very elegant.

People wear it either with a t-shirt, a "bula"-shirt or a chemise/tie. Funny enough, even if people here wear very bright colours, the "sulus" are always dark blue, black, grey or clear brown.
We would like to buy one as we find it very beautiful but we're not sure if Fijians will be molested seeing a "white" person with a "sulu". We'll find out.

By the way, we already bought a "bula-shirt"(flowers-shirt). Here everyone (and I mean EVERYONE) wears it. It's like a Bacardi-advertisement all around….
I promise to upload a picture of Lenaic with a Bula-shirt. Something not to be missed! :)
