First day in Fiji. We go for a walk around the hotel and we found ourselves in the middle of a park surrounded by palms and coconut trees and... surprise: we found in front of us a traditional Fijian house using its external corridor as an exhibition hall. Very good pictures and sculptures representing the traditional Pacific art are holding all around.
I think I will love this place ! :)
Afterwards we found out that it was the Fiji Museum and they are organising a joint exhibition with the latest Parisian Museum, le Musee du Quai Branly, on Oceanic Art and Fijian Artefacts. Link
